Dark Energy, NASA and its partners have confirmed a new dark force in space, and no, they found the Death Star. According to a report by the Mission Space Agency News, the existence of dark energy has been confirmed by a five-year study of nearly 200,000 galaxies. The report suggested that scientists’ theories about dark energy were justified and verified by careful measurements of the universe’s expansion rate. Ever thought that gravity was pulling the universe apart. This new belief is that dark energy is a constant force driving the current expansion of the universe.
Chris Blake, Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, author of two recent reports on the dark energy according to information from NASA. He said the force recently discovered “It’s like you threw a ball in the air, and kept speeding up in the sky faster and faster.”
“The results tell us that dark energy is a cosmological constant, Einstein proposed,” he said. “If gravity was the culprit, we would not be seeing the effects of dark energy constant over time.”
A U.S. scientist Report topic suggested that over 70 percent of the universe consists of dark energy, and the force is constantly pushing things apart.
Although the theory of dark energy has been around since the late 1990′s, is not without controversy, even after confirmation of the latter. A recent article from Space.com indicated that the dark energy theory challenges most famous known concept of Albert Einstein gravity.
