Danner Boots, LaCrosse Footwear, Inc., a leading provider of premium, branded shoes for work and outdoor users, announced today that it has received a new and 5.0 million for the U.S. Army to start Danner fight against the hike. The Company expects to deliver the order at the end of 2010 for soldiers in Afghanistan.

The fight against Danner Hiker is a full grain leather hiker designed with a rugged Vibram (R) for the sole on rough terrain while carrying heavy loads, a Gore-Tex (R) and a rubber coating around the rand Starter all down to protect against abrasion and damage of rock and scree. The battle walker is also shorter than the standard military boots to provide greater mobility in steep slopes and descents.
