Dani JarqueDani Jarque: (Washington Post) — After Andres Iniesta scored in extra time to Spain, the decisive goal in a 1-0 victory over Holland in the World Cup final, took off his shirt to reveal a vest with “Dani Jarque seimpre Us” written on it.

That means that “Dani Jarque is always with us,” referring to former Espanyol defender Dani Jarque, who died of a heart attack in August 2009.

After the game, Iniesta, said: “This is for Dani Jarque, my family, for all people. It is the result of hard work for a long time and some difficult times,” according to an report.
