Dancing On Ice

Dancing On Ice, Week nine on Dancing on Ice and things were hot enough to melt the ice. Blistering performances with saw judges with a tough job.

But in the end, after a dance-off against Chemmy Alcott, Corrie’s Andy Whyment skated off the show. His last number had seen him kitted up in a rhinestone encrusted Elvis-style costume.

Despite consistent improvements, Andy’s performance to The King’s Suspicious Minds with partner Vicky Ogden was just not strong enough.

The real high point of the show came with the tem challenges. The Girl Power of Jorgie Porter, Chemmy Alcott and Jennifer Ellison wowed to the Spice Girl’s Spice Up Your Life.

And the boys had great fun with an on-ice version of the Village People’s YMCA, complete with a show-stopping final moment.

But, in the end, the girls came out on top, doubling their scores.

The week was always going to be a tough one as the group routine was followed by individual performances meaning everyone did two routines in one night.

First up were Jorgie Porter and Matt Evers braving the ice after Jorgie injured Matt during rehearsal.

The drama didn’t hold them up as they got the highest score of the show so far with a red-hot dance to Beyonce’s Crazy in Love.

Judge Louie Spence said: “I loved it. I am here for the dancing. Yes it was contained, but you still let it rip and I loved it.”

Chico was on sizzling form as he glided onto the rink t*pless. After a difficult time last week, he pulled out all the stops to LMFAO’s Sexy and I Know It.
