Dan Quayle

dan-quayleDan Quayle:James Danforth who is well known as the Dan Quayle was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 4, 1947. He was serving under the former President of the United States George H. W. Bush from 1989 to 1993 being a 44th Vice President of the United States. He has also served as the U.S. Senator and U.S. Representative of the state of Indiana.

Dan Quayle was born to James Cline Quayle and Corinne Pulliam. He points out in his memories that James Danforth Quayle was his real birth name. Originates of the name of Quayle is from the “Isle of Man”. Most of his youth time was spent in Arizona and he completed his graduation in Huntington, Indiana from Huntington High School in 1965.

Dan Quayle completed his B.A. degree from the DePauw University in 1969 major in political science. After receiving his B.A. degree, Dan joined and served the Indiana Army National Guard with a sergeant rank from 1969 to 1975. While serving in the Guard in 1974, he completed his Juris Doctor degree from the Indiana University School of Law.

Dan Quayle was elected from 4th congressional district of Indiana to the House of Representatives by a margin in 1976 defeating Democrat J. Edward Roush. He was called the running mate by the presidential candidate of 1988 presidential election of the United States George H. W. Bush at the convention of Republican Party in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 17, 1988. But immediately after this announcement by Mr. Bush, his choice became controversial.
