Cynthia Nixon On Broadway, The “Sex and the City” actress will be the Manhattan Theatre Club in January 2012. Tony and Emmy winner Cynthia Nixon is reliving the drama. The Manhattan Theatre Club announced Wednesday that Nixon has signed to star Pulizer Prize-Broadway debut de Wit Margaret Edson. Directed by Lynne Meadow, the show will begin its limited engagement with previews on January 5, 2012, opening on January 26, 2012.
She will be a professor of poetry in experimental cancer treatment, while struggling with the irony of becoming the subject of research rather than the scholar. His performance will mark the first execution of the work in the Theatre Samuel J. Friedman, as he ran Off-Broadway of 500 performances from 1998.
