Cynthia Myers Dies

November 5, 2011 by staff

Cynthia Myers Dies, Former Play boy Playmate Cynthia Myers, died at 61 years of age. The busty beauty appeared on the cover of men’s magazine in December 1968 – just three months after she turned 18. Hot shots had been taken when she was 17 years, but policy dictated that Play boy editors waited until she was of legal age to publish the images.

The Toledo, Ohio native also tried her hand at acting and made appearances in Play boy mogul Hugh Hefner, after the television series Dark in 1969, before moving on to land roles in 1970 Beyond the Valley of the Dolls and 1972, Molly and John Lawless.

Details about her death have not been revealed, but Hefner broke the news on his website on Friday (04Nov11), writing, “I am saddened by the news of the death of a loved Playmate Cynthia Myers, Miss in December 1968. “
