Crystal Cathedral, Today, Governor Schwarzenegger held a ceremony to commemorate a bill he signed that goes after human traffickers by requiring large companies in California to make public how they try to eliminate Trafficking of their supply chains. The bill applies particularly to companies based in California, with over 100 million in gross revenues worldwide.
The actress and human rights activist Julia Ormond fought for the bill. She said you could see the results of some of the worst human trafficking and slavery in most homes.
In sports news, Los Angeles Lakers part owner Earvin “Magic” Johnson has sold his share of the team for an undisclosed amount. Johnson, who said the move was a “business decision bittersweet”, has sold his share of the team of Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, executive director of the UCLA Institute of Health and a professor Wireless at UCLA.
Crystal Cathedral went bankrupt after months of struggle with and $ 55 million of debt. Robert H. Schuller launched the mega-church-based OC in the mid 50s. It is also the birthplace of the “Hour of Power” televangelist show.
