Crystal Bowersox, American Idol, Crystal Bowersox, the 2010 “American Idol” runner-up, prepares for next Tuesday (12/14) release of his debut album, “Farmer’s Daughter.”

The album, produced by David Bendeth (Paramore, Papa Roach), offers original music such as “Holy Toledo”, “Hold On” – which was written by Kara DioGuardi and Chad Kroeger of Nickelback – and a cover the 1967 classic Buffalo Springfield “For what it’s worth.”

Bowersox will begin week contacted a bunch of appearances on major television, starting with Friday’s performance (09/12) on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Live with Regis & Kelly” on December 13 “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on December 16 and “Chelsea Lately” on December 22.

While in New York, Bowersox will be a part of the initiative CitySights NY vacation, which calls for the donation of gifts to children in need. Bowersox will distribute toys and singing songs from his new album and a classic or two of vacation. For a limited time, fans can listen to the first album online exclusive “Farmer’s Daughter” at AOL Music.
