Couric & ABC Deal

Couric & ABC Deal, Katie Couric, former news presenter hostess “CBS Evening News’ and ‘Today’, is said to be working with ABC to agree to let him have her own talk show. In May, popular and long talk show host Oprah Winfrey recorded its final episode and bid farewell to TV during the day, leaving an open space in the hearts of millions for someone to win more. ABC believes that Couric has to drive, heart and soul. The talks are in the works between ABC and Couric for the show, that air would not start until late 2012.
ABC hopes that the show could be a combination of style talk show series, becoming a cross between “Oprah Winfrey Show” and “Today.” The series will be syndicated in at least 20 local television stations, but ABC remains unclear exactly when the air. “We remain committed to ‘General Hospital’,” said a representative of ABC. There has been no official confirmation that an agreement has been reached between the two.
