Corn Maze 911, A family lost in a corn maze called 911 for rescue. Although it sounds obvious, it is absolutely true. A couple with their three week old baby and child 5 years old, decided that a corn maze might be fun … here’s guessing that you never go back to one.
It was just one of those corn mazes is small and old, nope, the maze at Connors Farm in Danvers, Massachusetts, covers seven acres, with nine foot tall corn stalks. Reportedly, you can take an hour for participants to find their way out.
The family has more than a little lost along the way, panic took over, and finally resorted to calling 911 for help.
In the 911 call, the mother tells the operator: “We came up during the day and have completely lost and have no idea where we are. I am very scared. It’s very dark and have a baby 3 weeks old with us. “He added:” We think this could be fun. Instead, it is a nightmare. ”
A rescue team, K-9 unit and a farm manager in the maze tracked them and brought them out safely.
They were rescued within 5 minutes – it seems that the family was almost out of the maze, just 25 meters from the exit!
Owner of the farm, Bob Connor, said: “We designed the maze so that people get lost, but it is family fun is a shame that the family was stuck. That is not our goal. We want to make a positive experience for everyone. “
