Cooking, LONDON (Billboard) – A year after being dropped by Interscope Records, Marilyn Manson is scheduled to return to UK indie label Cooking Vinyl.

Manson has agreed to form a joint venture with London-based label. The agreement covers the next album, scheduled for fall 2011, with an option for the album after that. Cooking Vinyl will handle the worldwide distribution of marketing and promotion.

At the hearing, both parties are unlikely bedfellows. Cooking Vinyl launched in 1986 as a contemporary folk label, but has since expanded his repertoire and was a great success with the Prodigy album back from 2009, “Invaders Must Die,” which sold 1.3 million copies around the world.

manager of Los Angeles, Manson, Tony Ciulla, said he declined offers from other labels after being impressed with the vinyl kitchen work “Invaders Must Die.” The indie of “passion and conviction for the recognition of Manson as an icon of rock and genuine enthusiasm to be part of your future career was instrumental in making the agreement,” he says.

Ciulla says the 50-50 joint venture is a “financial settlement more attractive and allows for more (creative) of control,” the two parties share the profits after cooking vinyl recovers costs, including an advance paid to Manson marketing and a “big commitment.”

Cooking Vinyl album is expected to launch in 45 countries, although in some areas set out in the licensing of local labels. Cooking Vinyl Despite not having a U.S. base, director Martin Goldschmidt Ciulla says he and partners will be linked to the promotion, marketing and distribution.

Goldschmidt initial global sales target for the album is 500,000 units, which is expected to be the largest release Cooking Vinyl USA to date. “Invaders Must Die” sold 53,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.

previous set of Manson, “The High End of Low” debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in May 2009 and has sold 137,000 units according to SoundScan. Total album sales of U.S. Manson stand at 8.7 million, took in 1996 of “Antichrist Superstar”, with 1.9 million units. Has scored two No. 1 previous albums “. The Golden Age of Grotesque” 1998 “Mechanical Animals” and 2003

The vinyl kitchen equipment has yet to hear the new album being recorded in Hollywood with longtime collaborator Manson, Twiggy Ramirez. But Goldschmidt believes that the break with Interscope inspire the artist.

“Manson in that state of mind where it really wants to fight,” he says.
