Concorde Crash, (AFP) – Continental Airlines has called verdict “absurd” Monday by a French court, which amends the support on the Concorde crash in 2000 which 113 people died, and confirmed he would appeal.

“We strongly disagree with the court? Verdict on Continental Airlines and John Taylor and of course absurd appeal this finding, “a spokesman for the airline said in a statement.

The court imposed a fine of 200,000 euros and gave company Continental employee John Taylor to imprisonment of 15 months suspended sentence for having manufactured and installed incorrectly a piece of metal that fell from a Continental DC-10 .

The titanium strip left on the runway at Paris Charles de Gaulle subsequently shredded tire on the supersonic jet, which leads to a fire in the fuel tank.
