I had only been following her on Twitter for a few weeks, but found myself checking her page several times a day just hoping her mom or dad would say she was getting better. I prayed for her several times a day, for a miracle. When I read that she had passed today, I was devastated. I can only imagine what her parents are going through...it makes me sick to my stomach to think about what kind of pain they are dealing with. Who knew a stranger could have such an impact on my life. Her story has forever changed my life and the way I feel about my kids. I am glad to have heard Layla's story...I am deeply saddened by her passing, but I am so thankful to God that she is no longer in pain. RIP Sweet Angel. These animals should not be kept for our entertainment. Because of the money these shows generate deaths have occurred. Its not the whales fault. They are dept from their true destiny. Family and purpose in nature.
