When you sign up for e-mail with Comcast, you use the services of a large company with the ability to provide fast and reliable web servers for their customers.

1. Visit the website offering all Comcast products.

2. Make sure you live in an area where Internet service from Comcast is currently available. Look for a box on the Comcast website asking for your address and ZIP code. Provide your address information through the Comcast box. You will be directed to Comcast’s services, including email, available to you.

3. Start a new account through Comcast as their Internet service provider. You need to choose a service plan appropriate and set the preferred payment system.

4. Create a user name and password for your new Comcast account. Make your password a combination of letters and numbers to make it safer.

5. Look at the top of the initial website and click “Submit.” Access your email account; type the user name and password you created for your account in the appropriate boxes.

6. Create an additional email account (up to six more free accounts) visiting the website and clicking on “My Account” at the top of the website (see Resources below). Locate the option to create a new email account (s). Assign each new account a user name and password unique.
