Columbus Day Parade Nyc 2010, Columbus Day Parade in New York today. The parade starts at 11:30 and goes down NYC’s Fifth Avenue between 47th and 79th Street. The parade should last until about 3:00 p.m.

The 2010 Columbus Day Parade in New York is in its 81st year. The parade was organized in New York in 1929. It comprises about 35,000 people, and more than 100 groups, and will be broadcast live on NBC affiliates from midday. It can also be observed in Italy on RAI television network.

If you plan to attend the parade, there is plenty of entertainment for the whole family. The red carpet will have acts of Pinocchio, the Italian Musical. It should be close to 1 million people on hand to watch the parade this year.
