Columbus Day

Columbus Day, Monday, October 11 is Columbus Day and the children out of school Baristaville except SOMA kids, no day of rest for them. You may have to work, so we set up a list of options:

Holiday Camp JCC Metrowest
Who: children of school age.
What: travel, fun and excitement during the school holidays.
Where: Metrowest CCM, Cooperman, Northfield Avenue 760, and West Orange, New Jersey.
When: Monday, October 11. Before / after camp care hours (07:30-18 pm) available.

Petit Camp Live Y’ers
Who: Children ages 3 (must be 3 by 10/01/10 and fully potty trained) in kindergarten whose parents are scrambling for children.
What: A day filled with fun activities: swimming, gymnastics, arts and crafts and more!
Where: The Helen and Bill Geyer YMCA Family Center, 159 Glenridge Avenue, Montclair, NJ 07042.
When: Monday, October 11. Children can be deposited earlier at 7:30 and resumed later 6:30 p.m.
Cost: Members – 45 per day / Non-members – 55 per day.

Camp Live Y’ers
Who: Students in Secondary 1 to 8 who have parents scrambling for children.
What: A day filled with fun activities.
Where: Montclair YMCA, 25 Park Street, Montclair, NJ.
When: Monday, October 11. Children can be deposited earlier at 7:30 and resumed later 6:30 p.m.
Cost: Members – 45 per day / Non-members – 55 per day.

Ashley Sports Day Camp Columbus area Comunity
Who: 4 programs: 3-4 years / 5-6 / 10-12 / 12-14
What: soccer camp where the skills, rules and pleasure will be taken.
Where: Sports field, 14 deposits, Square Montclair, NJ 07042.
When: Monday, October 11 check here for both age groups.
Cost: $ 25 for 3-4 years and 35 and 5 years and older.

Skills Camp Earth Day
Who: Children in third to fifth year.
What: Learn how people lived when they had to rely on the land and nature skills.
Where: Avenue of the environment of Essex, 621-B Eagle Rock, Roseland, NJ.
When: Monday, 11 of Octoebr 9:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $ 60.

Fall Harvest
Who: All ages.
What: Women’s Club of Glen Ridge is hosting its annual fall harvest! Enjoy live animals in a petting zoo, pony rides, a haunted stage, pumpkin decorating and lots of other seasonal activities.
Where: Women’s Club of Glen Ridge, 219 Ridgewood Avenue, Glen Ridge, New Jersey.
When: Monday, October 11th from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m.
