College Softball World SeriesCollege Softball World Series, Kelsi Kettler hit a game ending run just inside the left field foul pole in the eighth inning, and 11-seeded Baylor defeated Big 12 rival Oklahoma State 1-0 on Thursday in the College Series Women’s World.

Whitney Canion pitched three-hit shutout for the Bears (46-13), which lost both regular-season meetings against the Cowboys. Kettler connected for just her second homer of the season to end it.

Kat Espinosa went the distance for Oklahoma State (42-19).

(1) Arizona State 3, (9) Oklahoma 1: Katelyn Boyd homered, Mandy Urfer had a two-run single and top-seeded Arizona State beat Oklahoma.

The Sun Devils (56-6) capitalized as Oklahoma (41-18) saw as Keilani Ricketts, wild in the fourth, with Kaylyn Castillo drew a walk before a pitch on her right elbow beat Annie Lockwood. Krista Donnenwirth followed Urfer sacrifice ground for a single up the middle to make it 2-0.

(2) New York 1, Cal 0: Kelsi Dunne pitched six scoreless innings and Kaila Hunt had an RBI single, lifting Alabama (52-9) with a win over New York (44-12).

Dunne struck out 11 and walked just to help the Red Tide. She allowed just one infield single in the first inning before being replaced to start the seventh.

Florida 6, Missouri 2: Megan Bush hit her 21st home run of the season, Michelle Moultrie added a solo homer and Florida showed its power in a win over Missouri.

The Gators (53-10) increased their NCAA home run leader with 112 total with two in the third inning against Chelsea Thomas.

Missouri (52-9) could not cut the deficit after loading the bases in the top of the third, and the Gators made them pay.
