College Bowl Games 2010, Northwestern and Illinois will play in the heart of Texas for their bowl games this winter. Northwestern heads to Dallas for the Cup TicketCity on New Year’s Day against Texas Tech. Curiously, even if it’s a New Year’s Day bowl, it ranks lower in the hierarchy bowl, depending on where Big Ten teams are slotted to go, the Texas Cup. It is also lower in the hierarchy of television Bowl TicketCity is ESPNU, which prompted many fans mad when Wildcats they could not watch the television classic Wrigleyville. This game, at least, has the cachet of being played in the historic Cotton Bowl (the game itself is in the Cotton Bowl Cowboys Stadium).

The Texas Bowl will be where the fighting Illini Illinois will be directed. They will face Baylor, the match will be played Dec. 29 at Reliant Stadium in Houston and has a window “exclusive” TV – meaning that no other game is played at the same time – on ESPN.
