CN Tower WalkCN Tower Walk, As if the view from the top of the CN Tower is not exciting enough – people will soon be able to walk around the outer edge. The famous landmark of Toronto is offering a new attraction called EdgeWalk this summer.

Thrill seekers can walk free hand along a ledge of 1.5 meters wide at the top of the pod of the main tower, 356 meters above the ground. They will be wearing safety harnesses attached to a top rail and trained guides will lead the adventurous travelers in groups of six to eight.

Those brave enough to walk the walk will be rewarded with stunning views outside of Toronto and Lake Ontario. The whole experience will run about 90 minutes, with the same foot that lasts 20 to 30 minutes.

Walkers will have to meet height and weight requirements, and officials say the attraction has been designed with maximum safety and security in mind.

“EdgeWalk is both exciting and unique visitors to push their boundaries – literally and figuratively,” said Mark Laroche, President and CEO of Canada Lands Company, owner and operator of the CN Tower.

The attraction will open August 1 and advance ticket sales will begin in June. Tickets will cost 175 e include keepsake video, photo and certificate of achievement.
