Cma Performances 2009

Carrie Underwood CMA performance 2009 - Singing “Cowboy Casanova” live on stage surrrounded by dancers, country singer Carrie Underwood spiced up the Country Music Awards Wednesday evening. The show, which Underwood co-hosted with singer Brad Paisley, aired live on ABC from Nashville, Tennessee.
Dressed in a costume similar to the one she wears in the music video of the song, Underwood started out on a red velvet couch and sang about the “devil in disquise” who “only comes out at night.” Judging from the applause afterwards, the performance was a hit at the award show, but it has resulted in some fans who appreciate Ms. Underwood’s wholesome public image to this point, debating whether or not it went over the top in terms of sexuality.

Let us know in the Comment Section: Is this performance too “racy” for country music? For Ms. Underwood and her image? Or is it simply just good fun that goes along with the music and the song?
