CMA Awards, The 44 th Annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards has already begun with Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood rights repeating his last year as host duo. The first award announced on the night of Wednesday, November 10 live broadcast was given to Lady Antebellum.

The country music group won Single of the Year, thanks to her song “Need You Now.” Easton beat newcomer Corbin, duo Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins, and the nominations for this year dominating Miranda Lambert.

The trophy was presented by “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” host Ty Pennington, who was accompanied on stage by LeAnn Rimes. After he was handed over to the band and their producer, Antebellum took the microphone to an acceptance speech with Charles Kelley accreditation of his brother Josh for his success.
