Clint Eastwood Furniture Company, Clint Eastwood is suing a furniture company for allegedly using his name to sell products.
The Oscar-winner has filed a lawsuit against Evofurniture, a website named Immod.com, and the owners of the website’s domain name Alan Finkelstein and Casey Choron.
The 82-year-old claims the defendants are selling entertainment products, ottomans and chairs named after his first and last name.
The papers were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court last week according to The Hollywood Reporter, and states that the company ‘are continuing to use Mr. Eastwood’s name, identity and persona for the purpose of attracting attention to the infringing products.’
The star makes several points in an effort to prove that their marketing statements refer to the movies he has appeared in.
