Clark Gable Grandson, Clark Gable, a grandson of the late screen legend, was arrested in Hollywood on Friday for allegedly pointing a laser device at a police helicopter.
At age 22, was arrested with a friend after a police patrol pilot reported a “green laser light” had lit their cabin on Sunset Boulevard.
“Suddenly, the cabin is illuminated with green light, laser light, the pilot took evasive action,” said Gus Villanueva of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) ‘s Hollywood local television station KCAL9.
Field officers traced the source of light to a car, inside which James Clark Gable and a friend, Maximilian Anderson, 23. They were booked for a felony and U.S. bond and 250,000 (S $ 301,000).
Gable was released later in the day, and is scheduled to appear in court on August 26. “It was a misunderstanding, you know, people make mistakes and learn from them,” Gable said KCAL9. He said the “laser was only a gift given to me and people make mistakes and that’s the bottom line.
