Cigar Guy, The search is for a man wearing a Groucho Marx mustache and Rastafarian-style wig looking brown-red in the background taking a photo of Tiger Woods making a shot at the Ryder Cup 2010. The unidentified man with big eyes and eyebrows became a sensation on the Internet after being photographed standing next to American golf champion when he tried to chip his third shot on Saturday.
Online Sports fans around the world have helped fuel the latest sensation on the Internet, photo-shopping man cigar chomping on some of the most famous paintings in the world of sport. Some bloggers have even picture window of the “Cigar-Man” on the famous album covers. The suit he wears seems to be a tribute to the Spaniard Miguel Angel Jimenez golfer.
A photographer took the now famous picture shortly after Woods made his shot and right before touching the camera from the photographer. The ball bounced off his chest, then the photographer fell to the ground. Wood has been playing with Steve Stricker against Ross Fisher and Ian Poulter at the Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor in Wales.
Tiger Woods would have been very angry over his mistake, but no objections were raised about the location of the photographer. Some say that the image of “Cigar Man” is one of sports most beautiful pictures ever taken.
