Chris SingletonChris Singleton, After going through the adoption of international Jan Vesely with the sixth pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Washington Wizards, and Chris Singleton later selections twelve lashes with the selection 18.

“It’s totally a dream come true,” said Singleton was elected for the Wizards. “I’m glad I can sit here and be in your presence at this time. Not a lot of people to do what I do on a daily basis and not a lot of people come to have this experience, and I’m glad that he had. ”

The player 2009-10 Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Year, Singleton brings defensive versatility to a list of attendees in need of help on that end of the court. At 6-9, Singleton can defend several positions from the perimeter to the post and is arguably the best defensive player in this project.

The former star of Florida will continue to improve on the offensive end of the court, something he has done throughout his time at FSU, although it remains a work in progress in that capacity.

“All of a sudden, it’s just my defense right now,” he said of finding a niche in the list of attendees. “I’m an offensive player development. Everyone knows that. My shot is getting better and my ball handling is getting better and my game is getting better handling. I feel the team we have, we will build the chemistry and just go get over that bump. ”

An exceptional athlete with a strong frame and good length, Singleton (and Vesely, for that matter) will be a great addition to the Wizards fast break, which is headed by John Wall, one of the fastest point guards in the NBA. Taking into account the capacity of the wall to get into the paint in the half court game, the best offensive attribute Singleton, shot with his feet set, should be a great fit.

The curious thing about the harvest Wizards Singleton is the fact that he and eaves and Vesely are not particularly strong in the offensive zone. How the Wizards work rotation could be quite the enigma.

It’s hard enough to succeed on the offensive when defenses can drop off a player, if Vesely and Singleton are on the floor together, opposing offenses can send two teams a couple of different places.

Regardless of how the coach Flip Saunders rotation with the addition of Vesely and Singleton, both are young, athletic players who continue to add to a list with a lot of talent.
