Chris Schwarzenegger In Serious Accident Reports Say, Christopher Schwarzenegger, the son of 13 years old, Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, has been hospitalized after a serious accident surfing, according to people and TMZ. The accident happened when the teenager was body boarding in Malibu, California on Sunday, resulting in a collapsed lung and multiple bone fractures, according to TMZ, which first reported the news.
Maria was with her son on the beach when the accident occurred, according to People. “Christopher has been in ICU since Sunday,” a source told People. “Mary has not left his side and falls asleep in the hospital.” Christopher Arnold has also visited the hospital, People reported.
Katherine Schwarzenegger, 21 years of age, Christopher’s sister, took Twitter to thank the fans for their concern. “Thanks guys for ur concern and prayers for my brother! He is a tough little and getting better! Please keep praying for him! Xo” She tweeted on Friday.
It is the latest title for the family, as Arnold earlier this week filed a response to the recent divorce petition of Mary, asking a court not to grant your soon-to-be-ex, with the support of a spouse. Mary filed for divorce on July 01 citing irreconcilable differences.
Representatives of Arnold and Maria were not immediately available for comment on Christopher’s accident when contacted by Access Hollywood on Friday.
