Chili Bowl, With another edition of the epic Tulsa Shootout connected to the record books this past weekend, the roar of the Dwarves will fill the fairgrounds in Tulsa QuikTrip Center from another short week.
Workout next Monday to prepare the ground for the Silver Anniversary of the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl”ressortissants, which runs on top of the 1.4 mile oval Tulsa Expo Raceway clay next Tuesday Saturday, January 11-15.
The number of entries for the world’s leading indoor running show has risen to 264, with competitors representing 29 different states, as well as New Zealand and Australia.
Among the latest additions to the list of entry of New Zealand’s Brad Mosen, who takes the wheel of Chile, three times “Bowl”propriétaire a car champion Andy Bondio’s No. 47 entry. Mosen, only the 2010 “Chile Bowl”aspirant rookie to make the cut of the feature event of the championship, is one of the competitors on both sides of the Kiwi team member Michael Pickens Loyet.
With the addition of Mosen, 23 of the 25 drivers who competed in last year’s final 50-lap championship are set for this year’s edition. The only two missing from 2010 are Kasey Kahne and Darren Hagen.
Recovery of knee surgery recently, Kahne will be on hand to monitor the progress of KKR competitors Jason Leffler and Brad Sweet. Hagen, who won last year’s qualifying feature Thursday night, is recovering from injuries sustained in an accident late in the season. Grad Sprint Car Series and NASCAR Nationwide Rookie of the Year Ricky Stenhouse Jr., takes the wheel of the No. 3 RFMS Hagen piloted last year.
Also added to the list of entry is now California native Randy Hannagan, who will take the seat of the Wilke-Pak Motorsports No. 5 entry. Other representatives Wilke-Pak Dave Darland, whose “Chile Bowl”record after ten consecutive years according championship starts in a row ended last year, and Turkey Night Sprint Car winner Kody Swanson. The Wilke-Pak team is one of 19 other TBA.
Another familiar name, “Knepper” was added to the list of registered voters as well. A device to “Chile Bowl”depuis its inception, the name will be among the Knepper” Chile Bowl”sur field for the 25th consecutive year. After Steve took her in his 20th Bowl”’Chile last year, Nick Knepper sixth Bowl effort is in tandem with rookie teammate Dereck King.
