Chilean Miners Unemployed

November 5, 2011 by staff

Chilean Miners Unemployed, Chilean miners unemployed and depressed, like the rest of us The New York Times has a following of the 33 Chilean miners rescued, most of whom are unable to find work and are poorer than a year ago, when their 69-day trial began. Sponsored trips to Israel, the United Kingdom and Disney World have practically exhausted. What remains is a group of men who suffer from severe post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic.

Some of the sad details:

Only four have returned to mining. Two others are selling fruits and vegetables from a truck. One gives motivational talks. Most are unemployed.
Edison Pe? A lover of Elvis Presley broker, became the group’s biggest celebrity, appearing on The Late Show on CBS and visit Graceland. Since then he has been abusing drugs and alcohol.
The miners have been many experiences nightmares and insomnia, and are in a regime of sedatives and antidepressants.
Many are waiting patiently to take advantage of a planned adaptation of Hollywood, which has not been written yet.
