Charlie Sheen On Today

March 30, 2012 by staff

Charlie Sheen On Today, Charlie Sheen says he doesn’t quite recognize himself when he sees footage shot during his internationally renowned extended meltdown last year, best described as a Vulcan mind-meld with the Abyss.

“I didn’t recognize parts of who that guy was. The verbiage and him looking like a real, insane wordsmith was fine,” the ninja/assassin told Matt Lauer Thursday on NBC’s Today. “But it was a trip.”

Asked if it felt like an out-of-body experience, Chas quipped, “Yeah, I wish it was somebody else’s body.”

Sheen more or less admitted he was seriously abusing intoxicating substances during his abyssal period. He also said he wants to “work through” his hostile feelings toward his old show, Two and a Half Men, and its new star, Ashton Kutcher.

So, do the suits at his new FX show, Anger Management, demand that Chas undergo drug testing?

“There’s no testing unless something obvious happens: I come in covered in blood – somebody else’s!” said Chas, who plays a therapist (!) on the sitcom.
