A senior Telugu Desam Party leader Krishna district, Chalasani Venkateswara Rao, 54, was found murdered in his apartment in Madhuranagar-C of SR Nagar here on Monday morning.

The gruesome murder came to light only after Fasi, an acquaintance of the murdered leader came to the flat on Monday morning.

He urged the Government to catch the culprits in the killing immediately.
