Chalasani Pandu, Police suspect the sudden provocation be the reason for murder. But the chances of a larger conspiracy is also being investigated.

A senior Telugu Desam Party leader Krishna district, Chalasani Venkateswara Rao, 54, was found murdered in his apartment in Madhuranagar-C of SR Nagar here on Monday morning.

The gruesome murder came to light only after Fasi, an acquaintance of the murdered leader came to the flat on Monday morning.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner, A.K. Khan, told the people the media that the case was being investigated from all angles, although real estate litigation is said to be the main motive behind the murder.

TDP president, N. Chandrababu Naidu, who was touring in the Anantapur district, said that disputes should be resolved through discussions, but not through violent means.

He urged the Government to catch the culprits in the killing immediately.
