Centerpoint Energy, CenterPoint Energy employees Tree Trust to help support students at Meadowbrook Elementary School improve their natural environment. Overall, 17 volunteers from CenterPoint Energy and 620 students planted 25 trees and shrubs, bulbs and 100, Padded several gardens, barbed deleted and removed.

“We are proud of our longstanding relationship with the tree of confidence,” said Doug Peterson, director of marketing & sales of CenterPoint Energy and a member of the board of Tree Trust. “We are pleased that Meadowbrook Elementary has a new outdoor scenery and beautiful for students and teachers to enjoy while improving the environment of our natural communities. Teaching young students to plant trees and care for the environment is important to As they grow to become future leaders. ”

Tree Trust is a Minnesota non-profit organization founded in 1976 whose mission is to improve the community environment by investing in people. Tree Trust operates job training programs that help disadvantaged youth and adults to reform their lives, environmental education programs which in turn briefed the students on environmental advocates and community forestry programs that allow people to take an active role in improving the local environment.
