Cebu Pacific Promo 2011
November 11, 2011 by staff
This translated to a growth of 26%, at a quarterly average of 85% load factor.
“We consider Singapore as one of CEB’s major growth markets, especially with the number of overseas Filipino workers and foreign tourists there. CEB offers the most number of flight options to Singaporeans who wish to visit some of Asia’s best beach and diving destinations,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.
To boost its Singapore routes further, CEB holds a seat sale from November 9 to 11, 2011 or until seats last, for travel from January 1 to March 31, 2012. SGD 51 seats are available from Singapore to Cebu, while SGD 63 seats are available to Manila and Clark.
After the seat sale, passengers can avail of CEB’s lowest year-round Singapore Lite Fares: Clark (SGD 55), Cebu (SGD 75) and Manila (SGD 85).
“CEB fares are up to 75% lower compared to other Philippine carriers flying to Singapore, and up to 11% lower than other international low-cost carriers such as Tiger Airways. This is in line with CEB’s continuous commitment to promoting tourism and trade in the ASEAN destinations we fly to,” she added.
CEB recently announced it will add flights from Singapore to Manila (from 32 to 35 weekly flights) starting January 7, 2012. This coincides with additional flights to the Philippines’ top tourist destinations such as Boracay (Caticlan), Davao, Coron (Busuanga) and Naga (CamSur).
“Passengers from Singapore can look forward to CEB’s continued high-quality service and most extensive flight offerings within and to the Philippines. We aim to expand further in the Asia-Pacific region as we expect delivery of 54 more brand-new Airbus aircraft from December 2011 until 2021,” Iyog said.
CEB was awarded by the Changi Airport Group (CAG) as the top Southeast Asian airline which registered the highest growth in passenger traffic during the Fifth Annual Changi Airline Awards 2010, recognizing the contribution of CEB to Singapore’s air hub status.
CEB currently operates 10 Airbus A319, 18 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. By the end of 2011, CEB will be operating a fleet of 37 aircraft – with an average age of less than 3.5 years – one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world. Between 2012 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of 23 Airbus A320 and 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft orders, and 2 Airbus A320 aircraft on operating lease agreements.
