Cdc Zombie Apocalypse, Centers for Disease Control shows how to prepare for the acquisition of zombies and offers advice on preparing for natural disasters. Each year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, faces the task of getting the word out about how to prepare for natural disasters such as hurricanes and tornadoes. This year, CDC is receiving a little help spread the word of the living dead.
In a blog post of Assistant Surgeon General Ali Khan, readers are told that if zombies began in the streets like a scene from Night of the Living Dead CDC would conduct an investigation as it would for any further outbreaks of the disease.
“Not only scientists working to identify the cause and cure of the epidemic of zombies, but the CDC and other federal agencies to send medical teams and rescuers to help those in affected areas (which will be voluntary for young detectives not name the disease for the field work), “Khan wrote.
The CDC staff communication came up with the idea for a zombie campaign, after a staff member noticed an increase in traffic of Twitter when zombies were mentioned during a meeting of Twitter in Japan and radiation, as The Wall Street Journal.
But the real purpose of the campaign is getting people to think about what to do in a natural disaster.
The CDC reports that every home has an emergency kit that includes: a gallon of water per person, food, medicine, tools and supplies, sanitation annd toiletries, clothing and bedding, important documents and first aid.
The CDC also suggests that people consider the types of emergencies may occur where they live, choose a meeting place for families to regroup, make a list of emergency contacts, and plan an evacuation route.
