Caylee Anthony Drowned
July 1, 2011 by USA Post
Caylee Anthony Drowned, When “justice” is done in Caylee Anthony, Anthony’s family always standing back? The image of a “dysfunctional family”, represented by the defense has or may become a reality – now that the murder trial has caused, or rather brought to the surface web of lies and vulnerability within the family of Anthony. Casey’s father George attempted suicide, her brother Lee had no idea Casey was pregnant until the child was born, and her mother Cindy admitted her search for “chloroform” on the web, trying to defend Casey in the cost of justice Caylee.
The whole world has been watching to see if Casey Anthony will take the witness stand in clarifying the truth – the only real story long sought in this trial. No matter how heartbreaking it is, jurors and family members hoping to find the truth. But on Thursday, hope can be even further.
Caylee Anthony disappeared in June 2008 until her skeletal remains were found in a wooded area near the Anthony home in December 2008. The prosecution claimed Casey Anthony; a single mother aged 25, killed her two-year-old daughter Caylee Anthony suffocation and kept the body in the trunk of her for several days. He then threw the body in the woods near the house of their fathers.
After taking almost 50 people in the witness stand, the most sensational drama of the last decade is coming to a close. The defense rested on Thursday after the announcement of the denial Casey Anthony to testify in her own defense.
Judge Belvin Perry was asked if her decision not to testify. She said she was and who had time to discuss the matter with their lawyers.
Casey Anthony appears to have wisely avoided the risk of her own testimony.
“The defense would be crazy to take him the job,” said defense attorney Richard Hornsby Orlando, which is not associated with the case of Anthony, informed people. “She would be torn during interrogation.”
The defense failed to prove their claims, such as the abuse of George Casey Anthony against and elimination from the body of Caylee after her “accidental” drowning, which George refused.
Casey Anthony, accused of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, is a pathological liar, reinforced in recent years by George Anthony. In 2008, Casey’s ex-boyfriend Jesse Grund told investigators that Casey was a liar effective and diabolical. In court, the testimony of Casey’s friends also said that Casey said, “I am a good liar” when she was sleeping with two grooms on the day before her daughter disappeared. Casey allegedly failed to pay the IRS and 68,520 in taxes in 2008 according to a tax lien filed against Anthony in Florida in May 2011, according to a report of TMZ.
As for the lies coming out of Casey Anthony
“They were very explicit in their claims. They were adults. And Casey is the only one who can set some of these claims,”said John Morgan, a prominent Orlando attorney. “It can be a convincing lie, but it is not credible.”
Before the trial began, Casey said a babysitter kidnapped Caylee, who disappeared a month before police were alerted by the mother of Casey. According to police, Casey said she dropped her daughter with a babysitter named Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez, June 9, and never saw the two again.
On June 16, 2008, Casey told her mother she had to go to a business conference in Tampa. “Zanny the nanny was going over what her mother should not worry. Furthermore, Casey’s friend Juliette and her daughter Annabelle is going well, so that children could enjoy Busch Gardens during the workday,” Cindy he reportedly said.
The reason Casey did not notify police because he was afraid and only investigated the disappearance of their own.
In opening remarks, the defense claimed that the parents of Casey Anthony killed her 2-year-old grandson and tried to cover it up. Later, defense attorney Jose Baez corrected saying Caylee drowned in the family pool, and George Anthony tried to cover up the death.
Baez said George, as he drew from the pool Caylee, Casey Anthony cried, “Look what you’ve done. Your mother will never forgive you. Go to jail for the rest of your life.” The defense also said Casey was sexually abused by George in her childhood.
Testimony about Casey Anthony has painted a picture of a disturbed young single mother, who literally lives two very different lives. One person was highly sexualised “party girl” who was always smiling, happy and friendly type. The other includes the entire above plus a narcissistic pathological liar who easily spun fantastic stories, elaborate, he said. Sometimes, it seemed clear, Casey Anthony lied for no reason at all, the Daily Beast.
The defense ended its case earlier in the day with the testimony of family members and alleged mistress George Casey Anthony.
Prosecutor Jeff Ashton pages jury was suicide note addressed to Cindy Anthony George Anthony, his wife, expressing his grief over the death of Caylee and his anxiety about the unanswered questions in the tragic death of his granddaughter.
“I can not go because I must be me who is gone from this earth, not her. I have lived many years, I am satisfied with my decision because I’ve never been the man, Lee, Casey & Caylee Marie deserved special. ”
“Caylee Marie, I miss her. I miss her. I want my family again. I sit here, falling apart, because I should have done more. I was so close to home, why was there? Who put not here? Why has it gone? Why? For months, I &, above all, always question, why? I want this to go to Casey. What happened, why was not coming to us? ”
“Who is involved with this Caylee things?”
“It can not work to know our granddaughter is gone. Caylee Marie never had a chance to grow. I wanted to go to school (first day). I wanted to help in many ways…. I could go on & on. I’m in here vacuum for her. ”
The note stated that George bought a gun to get answers from Casey’s friends about what happened to Caylee, after he planned to commit suicide. George Anthony began to mourn on Wednesday when he told jurors about his suicide attempt. “I needed at that time to go and be with Caylee,” he said through tears. Asked if Ashton said in his suicide note, went down again saying, “Yes, I did. Because I think I had failed her.” In his suicide attempt on January 22, 2009, George was a prescription drug overdose after driving to Daytona Beach.
Ashton argued that the statements were valid for the jury to hear because it disproved the theory of drowning and understand that George Anthony was not sure what really happened to Caylee. Ashton also said the suicide note did not refer to George Anthony molesting Casey Anthony in its infancy, and defense attorney Jose Baez said in his opening speech. Judge Perry agreed the jury could hear about the purchase of weapons and suicide note. “It seems to me that someone opened the door and someone is trying to walk through it,” said Judge Perry.
Earlier in the day, the defense called Krystal Holloway, who testified that, her intimate relationship with Casey’s father, George, who allegedly told Holloway that Caylee’s death was an accident.
After denial of Casey to testify, the trial was 32 days followed by attorneys for both sides discussed issues related to the prosecution’s rebuttal.
After the jury was released for the day, a 28-year-old who had been captured Orlando Jeff Ashton giving the middle finger on the court before the evening was brought before the judge. Matthew Bartlett, a waiter at a TGIFriday, apologized repeatedly for what he did and admitted it was stupid, CNN reported. Perry Bartlett found guilty of criminal contempt of court and sentenced to six days in jail and a fine 400.
The drama seems to be endless, and always sensational in the family of Casey Anthony. Has also been implicated more people (and drama) outside the family.
After the death of Caylee, her real father may be revealed at last. A woman aged 47, of Rutland; Massachusetts said she is the grandmother of Caylee Anthony, with “100 percent” certainty.
Donna MacLean gave a series of interviews, saying her son Michael Patrick Duggan said by telephone that the father of a child and that parents had called Anthony before he died in a car accident on October 27, 2007.
According to MacLean, it was during a phone conversation with her son Duggan late summer 2007, when the issue was first raised. “We were talking about the upcoming birth of baby my other son,” said MacLean. “I told her grandson really expect a girl, and that was when Michael told me he had one.” At that time, Caylee would have been about 2 years old.
“” I asked him about the circumstances … which is the family? He said parents were George and Cindy Anthony. I asked who he was and he said her name is Casey, “said Maclean.
When Casey Anthony trial became hot, MacLean recalled the earlier conversation with your child about her granddaughter. After MacLean saw photos of Caylee, said, “She looked so much like my family, as I did when I was little. Large eyes … I kept looking at those big brown eyes.” MacLean also has brown eyes as her son Mike. ”
According to The Daily Beast, Duggan also have complicated family history – his parents divorced and his father even had undergone a sex change operation. His father is in prison in Florida for serious violations of DUI. Duggan died in a car accident in 2007 at the age of 24.
The prosecution rebuttal is expected to last about a day. On Saturday, closing arguments are expected to be given to the jury, and deliberations will begin.
