Carmike Cinemas, Justin Bieber was in the mind, lips, hair bows and bodies of dozens of local fans Friday night. They flocked to Carmike Cinemas Birchwood Mall for one of the first screenings of the movie “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never”. Tickets for “Never Say Never” 3-D advanced to the theater by 7:00 p.m. Shouts and cries echo prediction in the hall as spectators rushed to their seats. Excited to experience the 16-year-old Canadian pop-R & B singer in virtual reality as life, a group of nearly 30 girls and their mothers stood impatiently outside the theater to get their tickets one hour before the show began.
In the group were Kaylyn Stephens, 14, and her sister, Mackenzie Stephens, 11, both of Smiths Creek. Adorned with matching shirts – face with tattoos, bracelets and necklaces bearing face Bieber – the sisters said they saw the movie in 3-D was a must.
In fact, “3-D is better,” said Mackenzie. “So I can touch his hair!”
Also a fan of the style of signing coast swept Bieber, Jason French, 6, of Fort Gratiot made his hair as the star. Jason said he loved music Bieber, and that his favorite song is “One Time”.
