Carlos Zambrano Meltdown

Carlos Zambrano MeltdownCarlos Zambrano Meltdown, Carlos Zambrano had another crisis last night, but instead of attacking the Gatorade coolers or shouting at his teammates or manager, he hit a couple of Braves players and tried to hit Chipper Jones, twice, before be ejected in the fifth inning. By then he had to give up a career-high five homers.

It became clear in the fourth inning, then Z does not have and something was boiling inside. He did not have last night. Everyone can agree on that. What happens? But what was the reaction of Z? Hit the opposing players? After a lot of Braves players left the dugout and were warned to return and start a fight, there was a shot of Z in the dugout to the Cubs, and a smile appeared on his face. I was enjoying what he started. But was not there.

After the match, Z packed his belongings, he told a colleague who was “away” and left Ted. No one knew where. He left his teammates and manager thei4r scratching their heads.

Z One thing I saw was not the rule in baseball for the submission of retirement. You cannot just pack up when things go wrong and leave. According to Paul Sullivan Tribune sports:

“A player must send a signed withdrawal letter to the majors in order to become official. After retiring, you may reapply to the commissioner’s office after 60 days of play, and after 1 August reset. However, Zambrano cannot “retire” to get out of his contract and return with another team. He is still owned by the Cubs if he retires. ”

From 14:00 hours from Chicago, not retirement Z or his representative in the league had submitted papers.

So what the Cubs do now? Talk is most likely to Z on the shortlist again. But what would that do? This was a selfish act by a player who has experienced problems with anger. No part of Z will return to the Cubs after attending anger management classes and seeing a psychiatrist who adhere to certain stipulations if he would remain with the team?

It seems that batters and throwing intentionally left his team must have crossed the line and given the Cubs a way to cancel the remainder of his contract. If Z is let go by the Cubs in any way shape or form at this time, no fan will be too many tears at his departure. His act has grown old. Maybe it’s time to retire and let the Cubs move on.

UPDATE: According to a tweet from Paul Sullivan, Z has been on the disabled list means 30 days without pay and cannot be with the team those 30 days. Stay tuned. There are certainly more to come out, as game time gets closer.
