Candace Bushnell Divorce

Candace Bushnell Divorce, “Sex And The City” creator Candace Bushnell has filed for divorce from husband Charles Askegard after he was romantically linked to young dancer Georgina Pazcoguin.

Candace filed for divorce from husband of nine years on Friday citing her estranged husband had an affair with the Nutcracker ballerina. Candace said they had some wonderful times in their nine-year marriage, and she still care about Charles as a person. She respects his desire to pursue his own happiness and hope that they will continue to be friends in the future.

In October, Askegard left the New York City Ballet after 24 years to form his own company, Ballet Next.

Mr Askegard, a former principal dancer with the New York City Ballet, and Pazcoguin have worked together for eight seasons in the New York City Ballet. Pazcoguin was seen as a guest at his retirement party hosted at Miss Bushnell’s apartment on October 9 and also taken photographs together. Askegard and Pazcoguin performed together at the 2011 Alzheimer’s Association Rita Hayworth Gala on October 25. Miss Pazcoguin played the role Anita in the company’s run of the West Side Story suite and also played the characters in Swan Lake and Romeo and Juliet.

Bushnell married Charles Askegard, an ex-boyfriend Stephen Morris on July 4, 2002. Mr Askegard says he respectfully decline to comment further regarding this matter. Georgina did not comment yet about her relationship with Charles.

Candace was the author of “Sex and the City” and her columns were published in New York Observer from 1994 through 1996. Later, it was made as HBO’s television series with the same name and aired from 1998 through 2004, and starred Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw.
