Buffalo Bills Schedule
April 20, 2011 by staff
Buffalo Bills Schedule, Assuming that the 2011 National Football League ever played in Toronto will host a battle of cellar dwellers this year. The NFL schedule was released Thursday night and the league has held that the Washington Redskins next opponent will be the Buffalo Bills in Toronto Series. The game will be played at 4:05 pm on Sunday, October 30 at the Rogers Centre.
The game this year comes two days after the Toronto Argonauts play a game of Canadian Football League in Winnipeg. Last year, the Bills game against the Chicago Bears was played on the same day, the Argos took the Montreal Alouettes.
The calendar was released despite a blockade, now in its second month, threatening to close the NFL throughout the season.
“We, as fans, are closely monitoring the situation around the NFL,” said Silvio D’Addario, vice president of events at the Rogers Centre. “We hope for a speedy resolution and we are delighted with this year’s match.”
Based on last year’s ranking, the game is not all that excited. The Redskins finished with a 60-10 record and were in the bottom of their division. The Bills also last in their division with a record of 4-12.
The series has been a financial success for the bills, but has not been a success in the field.
The game is fourth in the series of Bills to Toronto, all losses. The Miami Dolphins, New York Jets and Chicago Bears hit the Bills earlier.
Ticket prices will be announced once the embargo has ended.
Fans interested in purchasing a ticket must pay a deposit and 25. Like those who have already purchased tickets for each set, all will receive full refunds if the game is not played.
