Bryce Dallas Howard, It could have been the first love of Spider-Man, but it takes an awfully long time for Gwen Stacy to get some time in the spotlight of live action. Spider-fans patience seems to be paying off, however, as the platinum blonde girl who steals the heart of Peter Parker will star finally restart the franchise next to Sony, “The Amazing Spider-Man.”
Of course, “Amazing Spider-Man” actress Emma Stone will not be the first to play Gwen Stacy in the big screen. That honor went to Bryce Dallas Howard, who played Gwen Stacy in 2007, “Spider-Man 3.” With the two actresses in the film “Help”, MTV News made sure to ask Howard about the strange convergence of functions.
Asked whether he had discussed the situation with Stone when they were on the set, Howard said the issue “absolutely” came and heaped praise on the next Gwen Stacy – and the film that gave the first paper.
“I loved doing ['Spider-Man 3'],” said Howard. “I participated in only one of Spider-Man films and hope to be in more, but I also understood what the options are going to do about the project is going to be right and good for the franchise. ”
“When I heard what we were doing, I thought it was an incarnation inspired,” he continued. “It will be brilliant. And when I heard that Emma was going to be Gwen Stacy, I thought it was perfect.”
Howard did not hesitate to make bold predictions about the image of Stone’s character, either.
“I admire the talent [Emma] both, and she’ll kick your ass,” he laughed.
“The Amazing Spider-Man” is scheduled for release in July 2012.
