Bryan Breaking BadBryan Breaking Bad, Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has suggested that the series would end after five seasons. The AMC drama starring Bryan Cranston as Walter White, her fourth career starts Sunday, July 17.

Gilligan told Collider: “It is something that changes if you ask [ed] me last season or the season before the face of this [fourth], but right now I would say that the fifth season, should probably be our last season “.

He added: “But … do with me within a year [and] we’ll see if I can change my song.”

Gilligan also revealed he hopes to recruit Fitzcarraldo director Werner Herzog to direct an episode of Breaking Bad.

“I’m still hoping that [it] will go to one,” he said. “My producer and I had breakfast with him months ago … and asked him to direct an episode, but he is very busy.”

Cranston Breaking Bad star previously revealed that a major character is killed at the premiere of the series fourth season.
