Brett Favre Sister, New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez said his right shoulder feels her best in “three, four weeks,” and participated fully in practice for the first time in nearly a month.

The Jets placed starting right tackle Damien Woody on the injured list with an injured left Achilles tendon. Wayne Hunter started the final three games of the regular season while Woody was sidelined with a knee injury, and gets the nod against New England.

In saying this “is not my first rodeo,” the former Carolina Panthers coach John Fox was formally interviewed for the vacant coaching job Denver Broncos. Fox is the fifth candidate interviewed to replace Josh McDaniels, who was fired on Dec. 6.

Police said Brandi Favre’s sister, 34 years quart Brett Favre Vikings, faces charges of drug crime after being arrested during a raid on a Mississippi condo where people were doing crystal meth.

(AP) – Seattle coach Pete Carroll said the Seahawks would attract quarterbacks Matt Hasselbeck back for the 2011 season.
Asked directly about the future of the franchise with Hasselbeck during his weekly press conference, Carroll said the team would like to do “everything we can” to have Hasselbeck back for an 11th season with the franchise.

The 35-year, Hasselbeck is a free agent after the season. He guided the Seahawks to just 41-36 upset of New Orleans last weekend and is the starting point for Seattle QB Sunday against Chicago.
