Brett Favre, Brett Favre is suggesting that retirement may be, according to a series of tweets from Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. The legendary quarterback has made an annual habit of delaying his decision to return to football until the last moment, but this year seems to be different, if sources are correct Zulgad.
According to the tweets “began telling the officers last night Brett Favre Vikings will not return for a season of 20.” Another said that “Favre is expected to issue a press release later today.” ankle injury the quarterback may be one reason that Favre is reluctant to play this year.
However, she cautions that Zulgad Favre could still return: “There is a chance Favre will return to the property with a bid of more than 13 million this season,” he wrote. And as noted ProFootballTalk “before the return of Favre, he needs to convince everyone that he will not return. As he did last year.”
Update reports: Jay Glazer that Favre has told his colleagues he will not return.
