Bret Michaels:Rocker Bret Michaels has been released from hospital after emergency surgery to remove his appendix on Monday, April 12. The former singer suffered a poison emergency appendectomy in a San Antonio, Texas, hospital after a scan showed the appendix was about to explode.
He was held under the supervision of doctors for fear of complications after temperature fluctuated after surgery, which is usually a sign of infection. But on Wednesday, April 14, doctors released him from their care to recover at home, according to the San Antonio Business Journal.
Bret Michaels was forced to scrap their concert on April 11 in San Antonio, because of severe abdominal pain that led him to the operating room in Texas. It has also rescheduled some of their April dates to recover from surgery.
