Breeann Rodriguez was last seen a week ago riding a bicycle outside her home in Senath, Missouri, with her brother. When her brother went inside to get something to drink, he returned to find Breeann disappeared.
A search of the area was empty up until a few days ago when authorities found the training wheels bicycle Breeann whose father, Edgar, identified as belonging to his daughter.
The mother of Edgar and Breeann, Claudia Ramos, revealed Thursday that they had both failed polygraph tests, leading to speculation that they were suspects.
But the police announced at a news conference Saturday that they believe he was a neighbor of Rodriguez, Shawn Morgan, who was abducted and killed the girl, according to a report on STLToday.com. Investigators said they believe that Morgan Breeann stifled.
Morgan, 43, is likely to be charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and tampering with physical evidence. He is currently detained at the Dunklin County Justice Center.
Authorities, including the squad Dunklin County Major Case and the Missouri State Highway Patrol are still looking Breeann body and bike.
