Break-in Suspect In Car, Cops Say, Thanks to a neighbor’s 911 call, two home break-in suspects are behind bars in Fayetteville.

Authorities say during the morning of November 7, a neighbor called 911 to report two suspicious cars in the driveway of a home and suspects removing property from the home on the 4100 block of Village Drive.

The neighbor described the suspect vehicles as a green Honda Accord and a black Acura with two suspects inside each car.

As police responded to the scene, an officer came across two vehicles leaving the area that matched the descriptions of the suspect vehicles. The officer began to pursue the Accord, but lost sight of the vehicle. A short time later, the officer came across the Accord, which had lost control and crashed into a ditch.

The driver of the car, 22-year-old Prince Betts, aka Terrence Level Groves, was taken into custody. The passenger of that car, 22-year-old Jermaine Hawkins was apprehended after a short foot pursuit.

Police are still looking for the two suspects in the black Acura. Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call the Fayetteville Police at (910)433-1856 or CrimeStoppers at (910)483-TIPS.
