Boston Athletic Association, (AP) – The 115th Boston Marathon is still far, but the recording got started Monday, WBZ reports.

The Boston Athletic Association said online registration for the race April 18, 2011, began at 9 am Monday.

Participants must meet the standards of the time of the BAA, which vary by age and sex.

Qualification standards for the Boston Marathon 2011 must be met as of September 20, 2009, in a marathon certified by USA Track & Field, or a foreign equivalent.

The registration fee and 130.

The scope of the 2011 race is capped at 22,790.

This limit has been reached in just two months last year, and the field is expected to fill even faster this year.
