Bond Girls Death InquiryBond Girls Death Inquiry, A British girl who died after drinking vouchers drain cleaner and pour it over herself, her research has heard. Angela Scoular, 65, drank the corrosive liquid after battling alcoholism, manic depression and concerns about debt, Westminster Coroner’s Court heard.

The actress, who played Ruby Bartlett in the James Bond of 1969 “at Her Majesty’s Secret Serviceā€, was married to comic actor Leslie Phillips, who starred in “Carry On” films.

She suffered burns on 40 percent of her body tract, throat and diet with the cleaner, which was 91 percent sulfuric acid, the court heard.

Scoular was pronounced dead on April 11 this year, just over two hours after drinking the drain filter.

Forensic Fiona Wilcox ruled that he committed suicide, while the rest of her mind was disturbed.
