Bobby Brown Sobs For Whitney Onstage, Bobby Brown cried on stage as he went ahead with a New Edition concert just hours after learning of his ex-wife Whitney Houston’s death.

And the 43-year-old R&B star told the crowd in Mississippi: “I would like to say, ‘I love you, Whitney’. The hardest thing for me to do is to come on this stage.”

He then struggled to sing ballad Tenderoni and left the stage shortly before the song ended.

A member of his family said that he was “beyond devastated” at the news of Whitney’s death.

The source said: “He wanted to tell [the family] about it before it hit the news. He didn’t want any of us to hear about it on television.

“He could hardly get the words out when he called me. He was sobbing, and by the end of the call, I was sobbing too. He’s beside himself right now.”
