Using family history and blood type, as well as tools for self-diagnosis, as fingerprintanlysis, measures of leg length and dental characteristics, D’Adamo shows how to define your genetic identity and discover which of the six genotype plans you should follow. Without a visit to the doctor, “Change Your Genetic Destiny” supposedly reveals hidden genetic strengths and weaknesses.

Healthy diet?
This question is confusing from the start. If you’re a genotype Hunter, you have a fast metabolism and a toned torso, and you can start scrapping right about now. If you are a teacher genotype, however, you have intestinal problems and a higher risk of breast cancer, so you should all stop eating trans fats and begin to age as your genetic makeup that says you should! Pretty there things from a scientific perspective. And to limit exactly which of the six genotypes you are delivered with pages of tests and a hodgepodge of tests. Each type has a huge list of foods to avoid, and nowhere in the history of science is there to support research how the shape of your own jaw will affect your levels of nutrition.

What the experts say?

Bottom Line
This book is fascinating reading, but there is no evidence that consumption based on your genotype can boost energy, enhance immunity and aid in weight loss, which promises jacket book.

You can eat
Vegetable broth, olive oil, lemon juice, lean white breast meat chicken, fish (including salmon, cod and herring), fresh vegetables, fruits, except citrus fruits, legumes and beans, brown rice, nuts, ground flaxseed, and filtered water.

That cannot eat
Each of the six genotypes in the book has completely different game food criteria. For example, the Hunter system is high in red meat and fish, but limits the cheese and yogurt, while the food is great unifier of pulses and vegetable oils, but recommends passing on most red meat. The diet of the teachers suggested more cereals and oily fish, but does not recommend the spinach and other leafy greens, and the regime Explorer is rich in wildlife meat and poultry, but does not recommend the most fish and the cheese. Confusingly, the diet of shellfish-loving warrior fails completely poultry and red meat, while the Nomad system offers lean meats and proteins, but no pasta or fruit rich in vitamins like oranges or bananas.
